Silver Lake Fabrication makes heavy-duty covers for skid steer loaders. These ARE NOT universal fit covers, but covers made to fit your actual model. We will be designing covers for different models when time allows, but for the most part, our covers are designed and made to order as there are a million different models of skid steer loaders and we'll never have time to have designs ready for all of them. See the section below for further info on designing a cover for your skid steer.
Our covers are made with a heavy-duty 22 oz. super durable vinyl coated polyester material, which is the same material that heavy-duty tractor trailer covers are made from, and those covers have to withstand 80 MPH winds! Our covers also have a mess of zinc coated steel D-rings (no eyelets to rip out!) that are attached to the cover with double-stitched heavy-duty webbing. The D-rings allow you to strap it to your machine any way you need to (bungee cords and straps are NOT included). Our covers also have a slit in the front with D-rings on either side (carabiners work great to hold this closed and are NOT included), as well as a 36" wide cover flap to go over the opening. The cover flap has D-rings as the bottom and Velcro on the outer edges to hold it down to stop water intrusion as much as possible. Our covers are designed to go over the main portion of the machine, but our standard designs do not cover the attachment or quick-coupler (available per request). |

HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?
HOW DO I ORDER A COVER?
Our covers start at $600 as a lot of time goes into designing and building them. Honestly, we typically spend 3-4 hours just to design a new skid steer cover, so if you don't have a budget for a $600-$800 cover, don't ask. To be frank, that's quite reasonable for a custom fit cover for your super expensive skid steer! Before contacting us for a custom cover design, see the section below to see if we have a cover already designed for your machine that's ready to order. When placing an order for a cover (unless your machine is listed below), you will have to tell us the exact brand and model and be prepared to provide us with a clear picture of your machine from the side (straight-on photos just like shown in the diagram below; a garbage pictures shot at an angle in the dark does not help us), and required measurements from diagrams below. In many cases, we are able to find dimensioned diagrams from the manufacturer, but not all brands provide this. Our covers are built-to order and typically ship in 5-7 business days.
